🌟 School Transition Fun for Our Rabbits! 🌟

This half term, our Rabbits are busy preparing for their exciting next adventure – starting school in September! 🎒✨

We have been enjoying lots of school readiness activities and role play at preschool, helping the children build confidence, independence and excitement for their move to “big school”.

This week, the children have enjoyed visiting school and taking part in Forest School sessions, giving them the opportunity to explore their new environment and meet familiar faces. Next week, they will be visiting the school for lunch on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – a wonderful chance to experience another important part of the school day! 🍽️😊

For our Rabbits who will be attending schools outside the village, we work closely with their new schools and invite teachers to visit them here at preschool, ensuring every child receives the support they need for a smooth and successful transition.

We are so proud of how well our Rabbits are embracing these new experiences and can’t wait to watch them continue to grow and flourish over the coming weeks! 🐰❤️

This week at preschool, the children enjoyed lots of hands-on learning through play! 🤖🐝🌿

They built robots using tools, explored our muddy construction site, learned about bees and bee hives, and had great fun in the new playhouse. These activities encouraged creativity, taking risks and managing challenges, teamwork, communication and problem solving.

A fun-filled week of exploring, learning and imagination! 🌟

⚽️ On Monday we were visited by Dean from Socatots! ⚽️

The children had a fantastic time taking part in football activities and exploring the different physical equipment. They loved practising their balancing, coordination and foot control skills through fun and engaging games.

It was wonderful to see the children building their confidence, teamwork and physical development whilst having so much fun! Thank you Dean — we can’t wait for the next one! 😊

Yesterday was Jade’s last day with us before she begins her maternity leave as she awaits the arrival of her beautiful baby boy 💙

We are going to miss Jade so much while she is off, but we are so excited for this special new chapter for her and her family. We would like to wish Jade, her husband and family all the love and best wishes as they prepare to welcome their little one into the world.

We cannot wait to meet the baby and have lots of cuddles when she visits! 👶💙
