READ ALL ABOUT IT...Our first Intercultural Cross-border Inclusion (ICI) Programme newsletter is out! 💫

The ICI Programme is the biggest single initiative we have ever undertaken. Since launching in January, we and our fantastic partners at Rural Community Network INAR - Irish Network Against Racism Donegal Intercultural Platform MSCNI MSCNI have been busy delivering:

🌍 Workshops and school visits
⚽ Sports celebrations
📚 Upskilling events
🧰 Anti-racism toolkits
💬 Discussion circles
🧹 Litter picks
🎉 Family fun days
🏛️ Engagement with policy-makers
🤝 Community conversations

We’ve already achieved so much, but there is still so much more to do.

Our first newsletter captures some of the work, stories and activity taking place across the programme. Read all about it here:https://nwmf.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/ICIP-newsletter-August-2026.pdf

FEELING SAFER...Thank you to Peter, one of Derry's Community Safety Wardens, who joined us this morning to give a very informative talk to our members. It was great to hear exactly what the wardens do and how they are keeping our city and district safe but also the difficult situations they often face in the line of duty.

Peter is pictured with staff and volunteers of the North West Migrants Forum.

The talk was an element of our Intercultural Cross-border Inclusion Programme, supported by PEACEPLUS, managed by Special EU Programmes Body - SEUPB.

Thank you as well to Derry & Strabane PCSP for helping arrange the visit. We look forward to working the PSCP again in the future.
