Infant Mental Health Awareness Week

Mother & Baby Swim đź’¦

Building Trust Through Shared Experiences

Water provides a wonderful environment for connection and communication.

During Mother & Baby Swim sessions, parents and babies share close physical contact, eye contact, smiles, and reassurance as they explore something new together. Through these experiences, babies learn that their caregiver is a safe and trusted base from which they can explore the world.

Attunement helps babies build confidence, security, and resilience.

Stay & Play

Attunement Through Play

Play is one of the first ways babies and young children learn about the world and connect with others.

At Stay & Play, parents have the opportunity to follow their child’s lead, notice what captures their interest, and share in their discoveries. These moments of shared attention help children feel seen, valued, and understood.

Attunement doesn’t require fancy toys or perfect interactions—just being present and curious about your child’s experience.

Infant Mental Health Awareness Week 👶

Tuesday – Baby Reflexology

Listening to Baby’s Signals

Attunement is about recognising and responding to our babies’ unique needs.

During baby reflexology sessions, parents are encouraged to observe their baby’s responses and cues, learning when their baby is relaxed, engaged, tired, or needs a break. This responsive approach helps strengthen the parent-baby relationship and supports emotional wellbeing.

By tuning in to their baby’s signals, parents develop confidence in understanding and meeting their baby’s needs.

As we begin Infant Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re celebrating this year’s theme: Attunement.

Attunement Through Touch

Baby massage offers a special opportunity for parents to slow down and connect with their baby through nurturing touch. As parents learn to notice their baby’s cues, expressions, and responses, they build a deeper understanding of what their baby is communicating.

These quiet moments of connection help babies feel safe, secure, and understood, supporting healthy emotional development from the very beginning.

Every gentle touch is an opportunity to strengthen the bond between parent and baby.
