Want to make a real difference where you live? Become a volunteer Champion and help share vital health information, support neighbours to access services, and take part in local events.
No experience needed - accredited training is provided. You just need to be 18+, friendly, and able to volunteer 8–10 hours a month. Speaking a community language is a bonus.

Our CCTV investment has helped in the arrest of a violent shoplifter who was threatening staff with a knife. His description was circulated and he was spotted on CCTV. His location was passed to police who arrested him. He was also wanted by police.

We're committed to keeping our residents safe and recently upgraded our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras. The new cameras helped CCTV operators get the registration of a car involved in a hit and run. This was passed to police who arrested the driver for drink driving

We are committed to keeping our streets safe and have invested in our CCTV network. CCTV operators were recently able to track two people suspected of snatching a phone in Bow. They directed police to their locations and both were arrested.

We have invested heavily in our CCTV to keep our residents safe. Recently, CCTV operators were able to follow a motorbike which made off at speed from police. The bike was eventually stopped on Hackney Road and the rider arrested for failing to stop, dangerous driving and assault on emergency worker.
