Don't forget this weekend is the last chance to input on the Greenwich 2050 consultation. Share what you love about Greenwich now and what you want to see changed in the next 25 years.
Do you value green spaces, cycling infrastructure, public transport, historic buildings, community spaces, libraries, something else or all of that? Love the adventure playgrounds, your favourite park or local library, give them a plug. Want more allotments, community spaces, job opportunities or recycling options, let them know.
There is a specific question on what would make most difference to your everyday life, I suspect that isn't a vast development with no amenities, community space, green spaces or decent transport connections, but it may well be a safe, clean home. So do tell them what you need and want form a future Greenwich.
Do let the council know and encourage friends and neighbours to do the same.
This consultation provides the grounds for priorities over the next couple of decades.
You can add lengthy answers of just a few short notes but please do add your thought.
I can't seem to add spaces to the map but if you can do highlight the places important to you.

Please do come along to the next Safer Neighbourhoods meeting on Thursday evening to raise any concerns around crime, ASB, safety on our streets or any other issues that are causing you concern locally. No need to book but a great chance to meet local police officers, councillors and other community members.
Please do share with others.

Don't miss the chance to get some comments in on what you love and where you'd like to see changes.

This will form the Council's basis for priorities, so whether you care about Adventure Play Centres, libraries, greener streets, access to food growing spaces, opportunities for young people, recycling options, or protecting historic buildings here is your chance to comment.

There are free text sections so you can highlight what you value about our borough and what is important to you and your family.

🗣️ There's just one week left to feed into the future of your borough - have you got involved yet?

We want to know what Greenwich should look like in 2050 - and the answer starts with you. 🫵

We want to hear what you love about the borough, what you'd change and what matters most to you.✨

It only takes a few minutes. ⬇️

A quick update from us on what we've been up to in July. Please do share in your local groups and make sure everyone knows how to get in touch when they need help with an issue with the Council.

In-person surgeries are every first and third Saturday morning – just get in touch for the location as we rotate between Shrewsbury House, Barnfield Hub and St Joseph's Church Hall.

Thames Water repair works on Herbert Road are expected to take seven days from the original leak on the 26th July. Bus diversions will be in place, so check before you travel.

If you've been directly affected and need support from the council or Thames Water, you can always contact us directly.

We'll continue to advocate for a proactive programme of repairs and replacement of the creaking water infrastructure here on the hill.
