We are delighted to welcome four new colleagues to our team 🇱🇻🇬🇧

Anda Poro takes up the role of Deputy Head of Mission, bringing a wealth of leadership experience. She has headed numerous divisions, including those working on OECD affairs, development cooperation, and Middle East and Africa affairs. She has previously been posted to the UN in New York.

Katrīna Kosa-Ammari is our Political, Economic, Technology and Energy Counsellor. She has previously been posted to Sweden, Portugal and Geneva, and has been involved in organising several international events, including UNESCO World Press Freedom Day and various technology conferences in Riga.

Sarma Citrone is our new Head of Communications, Culture and Diaspora Affairs. A Fulbright alumna, she previously served at our Embassy in the United States and worked in the International Organisations Department in Riga. She brings a strong background in communications and international law.

Katrīna Kate Lazdine joins our Consular Division from the Legal Department in Riga, where she developed expertise in international law. She looks forward to bringing this experience to her new role in London and contributing to the Division’s work on consular affairs and supporting Latvian citizens.

We are very happy to have them on board. Welcome to London!
