📢 Reflecting on an Insightful Day at Anticipate London 2024

This week, I had the privilege of attending this year’s Anticipate London at the ExCeL London—a fantastic event showcasing the latest advancements and discussions in fire safety.

My day was packed with insightful experiences, particularly at the FIREX Stage, where I had the opportunity to hear from some exceptional speakers. Andrea White’s session, Fire Risk Assessor in the Spotlight, shed light on the evolving challenges and opportunities within our profession. Neil Hope-Collins’ presentation on the HRB Building Control Regime was another standout, providing a comprehensive overview of regulatory changes impacting high-risk buildings.

Beyond the talks, I spent time exploring the exhibitor stands and engaging with industry experts about cutting-edge innovations. From advancements in fire-stopping solutions to the latest in fire safety technology, the event offered a glimpse into the future of fire safety. It was inspiring to see how these new ideas and products are pushing the industry forward.

Events like these remind me how dynamic and forward-thinking our field is. A big thank you to everyone involved in organizing and presenting at the event—it was truly a day well spent.
