Our Welcome Cafe's provide a safe, non-judgemental space hosted by one of our experienced team and allow you the chance to meet others and enjoy a chat, play games or perhaps enjoy some arts and crafts.

We are grateful to Maldon District Council for supporting this project.

Win, lose or draw, abuse is never your fault.
Football tournaments can make things worse. Alcohol, drugs and gambling can increase risk, but they are never an excuse.

If you’re worried about how the result might affect you, support is available. You are not alone.

Do you have a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia or Tourette’s? Or recognise neurodivergent traits in yourself, including co-occurring conditions such as OCD, Hypermobility or Fibromyalgia?

If you’re aged 18+ and currently based in Essex (or have lived or worked there), there’s an opportunity to get involved in a new lived experience project.

They’re looking to hear from people across all walks of life - students, professionals, retirees, and anyone with valuable experiences to share.

Too often, decisions about neurodivergent people are made without their voices being heard. This project aims to change that by putting lived experience at the centre.

🌸 June: Cultivating Happiness 🌸
When life has been affected by someone else’s addiction, grief, stress, or uncertainty,
happiness can feel like something we'll get to one day when life is easier.

But what if happiness isn't something we wait for?
What if it's something we gently cultivate?

Throughout June, we'll be exploring simple, self-compassionate ways to notice and nurture moments of goodness, gratitude, connection, and joy alongside life's challenges.

In our weekly Resourcing Me sessions, we'll explore:

Week 1: Noticing the Good
Learning to recognise moments of comfort, beauty and support that we often overlook.

Week 2: Slowing Down Enough to Notice the Good
Exploring how survival mode keeps us rushing, and how small pauses can help us receive life's positive moments.

Week 3: Gratitude
Discovering how gratitude can help us widen our perspective and appreciate what supports us, even during difficult times.

Week 4: Self-Appreciation
Practising a skill many of us find challenging, recognising our strengths, courage, and the ways we've kept going.

You are warmly invited to join us live, online or in person. In person sessions are held in Colchester at The Tree Room.

These sessions offer a gentle space to pause, reflect, learn, and connect with others who understand.

And if you can't make a session live, don't worry. Recordings are available in the Bloom Self-Care Hub, so you can explore the theme in your own time and at your own pace.

You don't have to do this alone.

Sometimes happiness grows through the smallest moments. Sometimes it grows because we practise together. 🌸

Learn more and book into a session. If you have questions please send a message. We are here to help.

Everyone should feel safe at home, during the match and every day after.

If you’re worried about someone, or need support yourself, help is available.
