Whispers of Light

A quiet moment deep within the forest, where light finds its way through the trees and dissolves into mist.
I wanted to capture not only the landscape, but the feeling of being surrounded by it — the cool shadows, delicate branches, layers of blue and violet, and that fleeting warmth of sunlight breaking through the darkness.
Watercolour allowed me to let some elements emerge clearly while others disappear into atmosphere, leaving space for suggestion, movement and imagination.

This watercolor was created during an inspiring workshop with Katarzyna Kmiecik and completed later in my own studio with a few personal finishing touches.
Painting this peaceful forest stream was both a challenge and a joy. Layer by layer, I explored advanced watercolor techniques to capture the softness of flowing water, the rich texture of moss-covered rocks, and the quiet atmosphere of a hidden woodland. It reminded me that watercolor is not only about technique, but also about patience, observation and allowing the paint to create its own magic.
