A STATEMENT FROM REFORM UK SWINDON

Reform UK Swindon is aware of the recent comments and accusations made by Cllr Davies, and we believe it is important that residents are given the facts.

The reality is that Cllr Davies was suspended from Reform UK yesterday after he was charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop, failing to report and driving without insurance. We understand that he is due to appear in court in September.

In addition, whilst he was a candidate Cllr Davies failed to disclose that he was under investigation for a number of serious criminal offences.

Reform UK Swindon prides itself on transparency, honesty, integrity and maintaining very high standards. We believe residents deserve openness and accountability from those who represent them.

The accusations being made against Reform UK Swindon appear to be an attempt to undermine the fantastic work our current councillors have been doing in such a short time in office.

Reform UK Swindon will not be distracted. We will continue working hard for Swindon and putting residents first
