The Ladies' Bridge MAKE MORE NOISE

The Ladies' Bridge MAKE MORE NOISE To put Waterloo Bridge as The Ladies Bridge firmly on the map.

To celebrate and raise awareness of Waterloo Bridge making it into the history books in 2015 as 'The Ladies Bridge'; three recently-discovered photographs of women acetylene welders and other women who worked in construction will be projected onto The National Theatre's fly tower and the south bank arch of the bridge from 7-11pm September 22-24 2016 as part of Totally Thames. One aim of this high-

profile projection is to add momentum and weight to the campaign for a blue plaque from English Heritage to acknowledge these women’s essential wartime contribution.

What a day we had being part of Thank you Artichoke and everyone Processions 2018 for making it happen.
So good to remember those who fought for our right to vote and a chance to put the ladies’ bridge on the map. Thanks everyone who came, carried the banner and marched with the ladies’ bridge team 🙏👷🏻‍♀️💚💜💟
