Applications for the Award for Civic Arts Organisations are open until 1pm 22 November.

This year's edition shines a spotlight on how arts organisations are rethinking their own relationships with the communities they serve as we emerge from a period of disruption and acceleration of trends in the art world and in society.

We offer one award of £100,000 and two of £25,000.

The second edition offers one award of £100,000 and two of £25,000 to organisations embracing their civic role after the recent period of disruption.

Today, in partnership with King's College London we launch The Award for Civic Arts Organisations, a new award to celebrate the civic role of arts organisations during the pandemic. We hope to nurture exceptional work that's been happening across the UK & help to take it further.

The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation will grant, for the first time this year the Gulbenkian Prize for Humanity.

Worth one million euros, this award distinguishes people and/or organisations worldwide that have stood to the fore in tackling the climate crisis.
