• develops and advances Conservative ideas and policies within the Party and in Government for the benefit of the whole country;
• creates regular opportunities for all members, regardless of age or location, to discuss the challenges facing the country and to have real influence on Party policy;
• champions Conservative policies locally and nationally so as to support the election of Conservative candidates at every level of government.

💡 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽?

CPF Member Expert Groups (MEGs) bring together members and supporters with specialist knowledge, practical experience and specific expertise from across the UK.
Their role is to help strengthen policy thinking by bringing real-world insight into the conversation, challenging assumptions and helping develop ideas before they are shared more broadly.

MEGs cover a range of policy areas and work alongside CPF and relevant Shadow teams, helping ensure discussions are informed by those with direct experience of the issues being discussed.

Whether your background is in business, housing, transport, education, healthcare, pensions or another specialist field, your expertise could help contribute to better policy thinking.

Fantastic turnout yesterday as members and supporters joined Richard Holden MP for our Transport: Growth & Delivery discussion.

We have already seen a strong number of responses to the Transport consultation, with ideas and practical experience being shared from across the country.

The discussion explored a range of themes and ideas on:
💬 Tackling driving test backlogs and examiner shortages
💬 Smarter road maintenance and the use of technology and AI
💬 Flexible local transport systems and connectivity
💬 Freight and logistics improvements
💬 Aviation workforce shortages and future skills needs

Strong themes and perspectives also emerged during the discussion, including:
