🏆 Congratulations to Sean Hanrahan, winner of the CPC26 Backbench Bill-Off!
Five members took to the stage at Conservative Party Conference to make the case for their own proposed Bills, before facing questions from the panel and a final live audience vote.
Congratulations to all five of our finalists and their ideas:
💡 Zarmeena Quraishi – Sickness, Absence Reform Bill
🏆 Sean Hanrahan – Medical Training Reinvestment Bill
🏘️ Alex Balkan – Community Pre-Approved Development
📈 Danielle Dunfield-Prayero – Small Business Regulation Lock
🏡 Stephan Fifield – allowing councils to use existing care budgets to pay families providing home care
And a huge congratulations to Sean Hanrahan, whose Medical Training Reinvestment Bill won the audience vote.
A fantastic example of members bringing their own experience and ideas directly into the policy conversation.
