Our graduate trainee Ana has installed the latest spotlight display drawing on our historic book and object collection: "Crossing the line: Nursing with experience of disability".

The display documents the social forces that have impacted disabled nursing staff from the 19th century onwards - from the fallout of two world wars to the introduction of disability rights legislation.

🎨✨ Visit a fantastic display of original artwork and poetry this (15–21 June)

Created by refugees and people seeking asylum through the Fences & Frontiers culture programme, as part of our exhibition. Author and nurse Romalyn Ante and artist Marcus Orlandi led creative workshops exploring journeys, memories, and the tastes, smells, and sights that stay with us long after we leave home.

🌍 You can see these powerful pieces on display at the Trampoline Café, a space that supports refugees with training and employment opportunities to help shape their future.
