Small charities make up 96% of the UK charity sector. They receive just 16% of its income

Yet the best return on corporate giving may be three streets from your front door.

In Lambeth, a business does not need a huge budget to make a real difference. It might have a meeting room on a Tuesday evening. A van for a Saturday. An accountant for an afternoon. Or enough pizza to feed a repair café anniversary.

Our new Lambeth Giving essay makes the case for backing the community organisations on our own high streets... with money, time, space, skills or stock.

Then come and meet the other 96% at Lambeth Climate Day, Lambeth Town Hall, Saturday 3 October Lambeth Council
Lambeth businesses: what could you offer? Community organisations: what would make the biggest difference?
