The Ladies’ Pond will reopen at 7am tomorrow morning (Thursday 3 Sep).

Thank you for your patience. We look forward to welcoming swimmers back to the Pond.

The booking system at the Ponds and Lido is open until Monday 7 Sep. After that, all swimming is pay/tap on arrival and no bookings are possible until Spring 2027

It's International Bat Night, and we're celebrating these special creatures! Can you count how many individual bats are in these photos?📸🦇

Our teams carry out monitoring to understand the biodiversity of our green spaces. The species recorded, from Natterer's to Pipistrelles, are good ecological indicators, and each play a vital role in maintaining healthy ecosystems by feeding on insects after dark.

Wed 19 Aug: The Ladies’ Pond is currently closed due to high levels of blue-green algae.

Any bookings made while the Pond is closed will be automatically cancelled and refunded. Ladies’ Pond season ticket holders can access the Lido, subject to availability.

Swimming hours are changing☀️

As the evenings begin to draw in over the coming weeks, our closing times for the Bathing Ponds and Lido will gradually move earlier.

Bathing Ponds:
➡️Sunday 16 August: Last entry 7:20pm, vacate water 7:30pm, vacate facility 7:45pm.
➡️Sunday 30 August: Last entry 6:50pm, vacate water 7:00pm, vacate facility 7:15pm.
➡️Sunday 13 September: Last entry 5:45pm, vacate water 6:00pm, vacate facility 6:15pm.

Adjustments to Bathing Ponds' bookable sessions:
➡️From 16 August there will be no 7:30pm bookable session at the Bathing Ponds.
➡️From 30 August the last three bookable sessions of the day will each start slightly earlier to accommodate the earlier closing time due to fading light.

Parliament Hill Lido
➡️Monday 07 September: Last entry 7pm, vacate water 7:30pm, vacate facility 7:45pm.

The booking system will remain in place into September, with an end date to be confirmed based on swimmer numbers and weather conditions.

Playgrounds Closure Announcement📣

The Heath Extension Playground has been temporarily closed due to the extreme heat. This is for the safety of our visitors.

The Adventure Playground will close at 2pm, and the One O'Clock Club will close half an hour early, at 2.30pm.

The Golders Hill Park Playground and Parliament Hill Playground will remain open, however the slides are closed. The sandpit at Golders Hill Park is remaining closed.

We are sorry for any inconvenience cause and thank you for your understanding.

During this heat, please stay hydrated, stay in the shade, and look out for eachother.
