The old paddling pool at Queen's Park has brought joy to generations of families, but now it's time for a new chapter 💮🌊

Thanks to the incredible support of our local community, generous donors and grant funders, we're almost there! We've already raised the vast majority of the funds needed and now have just £45,000 left to raise to make our Splashpad a reality.

Queen's Park Playground has been temporarily closed as a safety measure due to the extreme heat (Aug 13). We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

There is currently an Amber Heat Alert; please remember to stay hydrated, stay in the shade, and not light fires or BBQs in the Park.

Our Pygmy Goats have been making the most of the shade, fresh water, and relaxing during the warmer weather 🌞

Pygmy Goats are a hardy breed with origins in West Africa. They're well adapted to hot climates and are often most active during the cooler parts of the day, preferring to rest when temperatures rise.

Goats are also very curious and intelligent animals. They love exploring their surroundings, investigating anything new, and finding the perfect spot to perch, climb or snooze.
