Recently Cllr Gupta & Turrell visited residents on St Mary’s Avenue to discuss drainage issues, whilst the drains will be cleaned during September we have done a walk about of the ward looking at drains and will report back to officers. If you do see water pooling around drains the best way to report is FixMyStreet - www.fixmystreet.com you can even download the app to your phone!

Cllr Gupta & Turrell also visited Queen Anne Avenue to discuss speeding issues with residents. Whilst Queen Anne Avenue is on the list for the council to review to see what mitigations can be taken with tackling speeding we will take feedback back to officers to discuss and we will keep residents updated on actions taken.

This is part of our roving Councillor surgery scheme on Fridays if you have any particular issues on your road please email us at [email protected] [email protected] & [email protected] and we can arrange to visit you on a Friday morning that suits you to discuss, see and tackle your issues!

We are passionate about keeping our neighbourhood police on the beat in our neighbourhood. See below a video about how Thomas Turrell AM - London Assembly Member for Bexley and Bromley has worked to ensure more of our police stay in our local area rather than being abstracted to police large-scale events in Crystal Palace.

The works are expected to be in place until Sunday 06/09 currently.

As Councillors we are also Corporate Parents for looked after children in our Borough, it is a great honour and responsibility so it was great fun today to join our children their families & carers for a fun day.

There was quite a lot of competition on Connect Four, the Bungee Run & other inflatable games. It was great to chat to & have fun with so many of our amazing young people. There was also a tug of war which was Councillors vs young people, which sadly (or some may say not sadly….) the Councillors lost!
