Ghana Cocoa Marketing Co. UK Ltd (GCMC UK LAtd.) led a delegation of 's to honor an invitation to the offices of Olam International Food Ingredients on Wednesday, 26th June 2024. This visit was a key part of the farmers' engagement with leading and stakeholders in the .

NATIONAL BEST AWARDEES VISIT Mars FACTORY IN THE UK

The Ghana Cocoa Marketing Co. UK Ltd led a delegation of 's Awardees to an enlightening visit to Mars , home of renowned chocolate brands like M&M's, , , , and the bar.

This distinguished team of gallant and inspirational cocoa farmers awardees for 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023, includes:

1. Overall National Best Cocoa Farmers
2. National Most Enterprising Female Cocoa Farmers
3. National Most Enterprising Male Cocoa Farmers
4. National Most Promising Young Cocoa Farmers

The visit to Mars is part of a 9-day UK tour by 's , under the sponsorship of the Ghana Cocoa Board. The objective is to provide the farmers with a deeper appreciation of the global value chain and to engage with key stakeholders.

The visit included a fascinating tour of the factor in and highly productive engagements with the Mars team.

Successful companies are characterized by amazing teams, and that's my summary of the wonderful people at Mars . Special appreciation to Ellen Jacobs, Naomi jones, Julie Clifford and the whole team for organizing such an exceptional experience for the cocoa farmers.

The visit to Mars provided a unique opportunity for the farmers to witness the production of top-brand chocolates made from the beans they supply. It was a memorable indulging experience to taste sumptuous chocolates straight from the manufacturing line.
