Spending time outdoors? Insect bites and stings can be part of the deal, but here’s how to keep safe:
🪰 Most bites are harmless - but can sometimes become infected
🐝 Bees, wasps, mosquitos, horseflies and ticks are the usual culprits
🔴 Look for pain, redness, swelling or itchiness at the bite site

If you notice unusual symptoms or lots of bites in one area, check in with your pharmacist or call NHS 111.
