Association of MBAs We are here to help you make an informed choice when choosing your MBA programme and ensure you receive a high-quality education.

This page is run by international MBA ambassadors. The Association of MBAs is the impartial authority on postgraduate management education. It sets the international standard for accrediting MBA, DBA and MBM programmes and has accredited MBA provision at over 200 business schools in over 75 countries across the world. The Association supports people throughout their MBA journey, by helping MBA seekers with impartial advice and information on hundreds of MBA programmes at our accredited business schools; delivering a world-class accreditation system; offering membership services including learning and networking opportunities; and engaging with employers to support our business schools’ career departments, graduates and alumni. Our microsite www.ambaguide.com is designed for those seeking MBA study. You can search for business schools using various criteria, like location, duration and MBA type. The dedicated microsite also offers Advice pages to help you choose the right MBA for you, information on the GMAT test, listings for events such as our MBA Fairs and relevant articles. You can also download for free ‘The Official Guide to Choosing an MBA,’ a pocket guide to MBA study. The Association of MBAs’ page gives you immediate access to our Global AMBAssadors. Based in different countries around the world, the Global AMBAssadors are alumni or students from accredited business schools who have been chosen by their school to champion the value of the accredited MBA and responsible management. . They will be able to answer your questions about the schools they have studied at, the MBA programmes they chose and how the MBA has helped in their career. 🤖 Will business schools still matter in an AI-powered future?

As AI transforms how knowledge is accessed and applied, business schools face important questions about the future of teaching, learning and the MBA.

At the AMBA & BGA Asia Pacific Deans and Directors Conference 2026, Jozef Konings, Dean of Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business, and Ithai Stern, Professor of Strategy at INSEAD, will explore these challenges in their session, 'Will Business Schools Still Matter? AI and the Future of the MBA'.

The session will showcase an AI-powered immersive case study in which students interact with virtual stakeholders, before examining the wider potential of personalised learning, simulations and virtual reality.

Delegates will consider what these developments mean for curriculum design, teaching methods and future investment in faculty.

📍 That's a wrap in Lisbon!

Yesterday marked the conclusion of our AMBA & BGA Programme Excellence Conference and Accreditation Conference 2026, bringing together business school leaders for a final day of insightful discussions, shared learning and valuable connections.

🎓 At the Programme Excellence Conference, discussions explored how business schools can adapt to changing expectations, strengthen lifelong learning and develop future-ready programmes.

Highlights included Clark Boyd examining how business simulations can develop business judgement in an AI-shaped world, while Maria Gallo explored the strategic role of alumni engagement throughout the student lifecycle.

🌍 At the Accreditation Conference, delegates explored practical approaches to managing multiple accreditations and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

Carolyn Magnani and Craig Robinson shared perspectives on managing multiple accreditation requirements, while Sarah Vaughan explored how business schools can engage faculty, staff and students in building a school-wide accreditation culture.

Across both conferences, the conversations reinforced the importance of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement in shaping the future of business education.

📍 Day one in Lisbon!

Business school leaders came together yesterday for the opening day of the AMBA & BGA Programme Excellence Conference and Accreditation Conference 2026, sharing insights and exploring new approaches to strengthening business education.

🎓 At the Programme Excellence Conference, discussions explored the changing value of business education, evolving student expectations and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

Highlights included Jinnie Hinderscheit sharing GEM – Alpine Business School's approach to institutional identity and immersive learning, while Inácio Rozeira explored how leadership development can extend beyond the classroom through experiential learning.

🌍 At the Accreditation Conference, delegates examined accreditation best practice, institutional impact and continuous improvement.

Bodo Schlegelmilch offered insights into the role of mentoring in supporting business schools through BGA accreditation, including the development of their Continuous Impact Model.

Across both conferences, the day provided opportunities to exchange ideas, share experiences and strengthen connections within our international business school community.

🎓 What does it take to reposition a business school while staying true to its roots?

At the AMBA & BGA Programme Excellence Conference 2026, Jinnie Hinderscheit, Head of Marketing, DBA & MBA Programs at GEM – Alpine Business School, will share the thinking behind the school's transition from Grenoble Ecole de Management to its new identity.

Her session, 'Alpine Roots, Global Altitude', will explore how GEM's EAGLE 2030 strategy is shaping its brand, educational approach and global positioning.

Central to this transformation is the Alpine Immersive Learning Journey, a teaching model combining classroom learning, digital experiences and learning within the Alpine environment and partner ecosystem.

Jinnie will explore how this strategic repositioning is reshaping conversations with candidates, partners and employers, while staying true to the school's roots.

🎓 How can business schools design programmes for a future that's constantly changing?

As the skills employers need continue to evolve, business schools face an important challenge: ensuring their programmes prepare graduates not just for today's opportunities, but for those still to come.

At the AMBA & BGA Asia Pacific Deans and Directors Conference 2026, Danika Wright, Associate Dean (Education) at Sydney Business School, will explore this challenge in her session, 'Degrees of Freedom: Preparing Graduates to Lead What Comes Next'.

Drawing on research with more than 150 senior leaders and the University of Sydney's new online MBA in Technology and Digital Strategy, Danika will examine how programmes can combine leadership and technical expertise while developing adaptability, curiosity and lifelong learning.

Delegates will gain practical insights into designing programmes that equip graduates to navigate disruption and respond to changing expectations.
