The Dartford and Gravesham Green Parties have a lot of questions about the impact that a data centre in Southfleet will have on our communities.

We are demanding proper scrutiny on the allocation of resources, meaningful consultation of local people and full consideration of impacts on the local environment throughout the planning process of this huge proposed development.

Do you have concerns about the proposal to build a data centre on New Barn Road? Join our Facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1CJjsBQvRG/ 💚

Gravesham Green Party are disappointed to learn via Green Not Gr££d that Gravesham Borough Council has withdrawn all the reasons for refusal of planning permission on Norwood Lane.

Green Not Gr££d have been campaigning against building on green belt land across Meopham. These plans would destroy vital biodiversity, have not considered the impact on local road congestion and all doctors, schools and other services in the village area are already over capacity.

Thankyou to KentOnline for covering this essential campaign.

Talk about a scorched earth policy!

Andy Burnham wants more North Sea drilling for oil and gas.
What about the record breaking heatwaves? Thousands of heat related deaths? An accelerating climate crisis?

Andy Burnham just wants to make more money for the oil & gas companies.

A fantastic result from the recent planning meeting regarding a third McDonald’s in Gravesend! The Gravesham Green Party fully supports the important work that these residents are doing to protect our community from opportunistic developers.
Congratulations to everyone involved and best of luck for the appeals process 💚
