'It is devastating that Jewish people - whether NHS staff or patients - are being subjected to antisemitism and ostracism in the NHS. All forms of racism and discrimination are abhorrent.'

Government accepts all recommendations set out in Lord Mann’s review of antisemitism and other forms of racism across the NHS

Lord Mann has put forward recommendations to tackle 'routine ostracism' of Jewish people in the NHS.

This Volunteers’ Week, we’re highlighting different ways experienced CSP members can get involved to help future physiotherapists thrive.

Two key ways to make a difference are by volunteering:
1. As a mentor who guides others through their career journey
2. As an education consultant who helps to shape physiotherapy education.

Volunteering in these roles is your chance to give back, build connections, and make a lasting impact.

Many employers provide funding and study leave for continuing professional development activities.

To help CSP members access support to attend CSP Annual Conference, we have developed a business case template that can be used in conversations with line managers and learning and development coordinators.

The template is designed to help demonstrate the value of attendance for individual development, team learning and service improvement. Find it online www.csp.org.uk/conferencefunding

There is currently a £50 early booking saving available until midnight on 16 July, so members are encouraged to start conversations with employers sooner rather than later.

This Volunteers’ Week, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who volunteers at the CSP.

From promoting key campaigns, to being in a core team leading one of the CSP networks, to sitting on council.

We couldn't do what we do without our volunteers.

Thank you ❤️
