🎥 From the moment doors opened, this year's Resident Conference proved just how powerful it is when a community comes together.
Residents from Hillingdon and neighbouring boroughs came together at Ickenham Village Hall, Uxbridge, for a day of honest conversations, service updates and community spirit.
Opening the day:
Leroy McKenzie (Chair, Tenants Committee) and Ricky Scipio (CEO) welcomed everyone and set the tone for the day.
What we heard:
• Ray O'Looney (Head of Customer Service & Income) on the improvements shaping our Contact Centre
• Fiona C. on the Scrutiny Panel's review of our communications
• Gary Clark (Director of Customers & Communities) on how we're preparing for STAIRs
• Jim Fyfe (Head of Planned Programme & Compliance) with the latest on our investment programme
• Max W. on his brilliant work out in the community
• Insight and contributions from our Board/Committee Members, Dave Baptiste, Karen Forbes-Jackson, John, Jonathan Gregory and Edith Stokes
A special welcome to the Mayor of Hillingdon, Cllr Reeta Chamdal, who addressed residents and presented the Community Champion Awards to nominated residents, recognising their
efforts to go above and beyond for their estates.
Leroy McKenzie closed the day, bringing everything together.
