Find out what’s coming up this week in the House of Lords:

❓ Lords members question the government on international fraud, neighbourhood health and social care, disabling business rates avoidance schemes, and plans to reduce the welfare budget to fund defence.

📃 In bills, members debate the main purpose and key themes of the Representation of the People Bill. Detailed line-by-line scrutiny of the Railways Bill and further scrutiny of the Commercial Payments Bill is also scheduled, and the Lords will 'tidy up' the Financial Services and Markets Bill.

🗣️ In debates, members will discuss the Macolin Convention and the report from the Retirement and Participation Committee. Also, the Lords debates the impact of VAT and tax changes on independent schools and prison services.

📝 In committees, the Communications and Digital Committee speaks to leaders at Ofcom for its inquiry into the implementation and impact of the Online Safety Act. Also, the Constitution Committee will hear from Lord Young of Old Windsor and Lord Case.
