As 2025 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a year of growth, progress and continued commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Early in the year, SLS opened new services across different parts of the country, extending our reach to meet growing local needs. June saw our work recognised through national and regional awards, including the Supported Housing Innovation Award and Mental Health Initiative of the Year.
In September, SLS became B Corp Certified, reinforcing our commitment to balancing purpose with performance. This was followed by further recognition for learning and development in October, and winning The Home Care Team Award at the Great British Care Awards in November.
As the year drew to a close, December saw SLS expand into the Wandsworth Council area, install AEDs in all SLS houses, and help improve the mental health of 200+ people. Alongside this, our charity Mental Aid continued to create meaningful community impact through work, skills and compassionate support.
