For too long, courts have consistently sided with men over contact and access to children - even when they are known abusers.

Thanks to so many brave / mothers challenging decisions - often losing everything in the process, no more!

It comes after the BBC reported a mum's fight to stop her ex-husband getting access to their child.

IN JUST 3 DAYS this week alone, the murders of THREE have been reported on.

One woman was stabbed in her car in an alleyway... She was in her 20's...

Another woman was stabbed to death whilst grocery shopping with her baby... She was in her 20's...

Whilst the remains of the body of Sarah Mayhew were identified... She was in her 30's...

The families, friends, colleagues, neighbours of each woman's world, will now be left to cope with their losses for a lifetime.

This global epidemic of male violence will NEVER be resolved, never reach point zero, if women's words, lives, bodies, realities, needs and WARNINGS continue to go on being ignored as they are!

How many more times are we going to have to type out the words: "Our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of all She left behind..." before agencies LISTEN to us???

Aunts, grandmothers, sisters, girlfriends, all stepping in to help when needed.

A LAW compelling every police force to:

- Respond faster to 999 calls

- Have a dedicated officer to oversee all civil orders for the protection of & girls

- and expand/speed up the use of DV orders

has been named Raneem's Law.

This is what can happen when families are listened to by MPs. Thank you Killed Women, Jess Phillips, Yvette Cooper, Centre for Women's Justice for the tireless work & support of Nour Norris to bring this to the fore.

FOR TOO MANY women and girls, what happened to this week via will be an all too familiar story: one that often leads to shame, isolation and despair. It is a global occurrence, and a known fact that the images of women and girls is most often used for profiteering via s*xual exploitation.

Another 2 children killed at the hands of a violent man.

Another case of the not responding to a call that might have saved not only their lives, but the life of their aunt.

Thanks to Karen Ingala Smith of Counting Dead Women UK, we have a Femicide Census ie. a log of every woman killed by a man in the UK.

We now need one for children.
