เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลอนดอน เข้าร่วมงานสัมมนา Secret Allies: The Special Operations Executive (SOE) and the Thai Resistance in the Second World War

เมื่อวันที่ 11 เมษายน 2569 นายณัฐวัฒน์ กฤษณามระ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลอนดอน และนางเปรียบทิพย์ กฤษณามระ ภริยา พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เข้าร่วมงานสัมมนา Secret Allies: The Special Operations Executive (SOE) and the Thai Resistance in the Second World War จัดโดยสมาคม Anglo-Thai Society (ATS) ร่วมกับเครือข่าย Secret WW2 Learning Network ณ The National Archives กรุงลอนดอน

ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กล่าวเปิดงานสัมมนาฯ โดยกล่าวถึงความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยปฏิบัติการพิเศษของสหราชอาณาจักร (SOE) และขบวนการเสรีไทยในช่วงสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 และบทบาทในการปฏิบัติการด้านข่าวกรองและเครือข่ายในประเทศไทย ซึ่งเป็นอีกมิติด้านประวัติศาสตร์ที่สะท้อนถึงความสัมพันธ์ที่มีมาอย่างยาวนานระหว่างไทยและสหราชอาณาจักร

งานสัมมนาฯ มีวิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิร่วมบรรยายและแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ ได้แก่ (1) นาย Paul McCue กรรมการบริหาร (Executive Trustee) ของเครือข่าย Secret WW2 Learning Network (2) น.ส. Kate Reid-Smith นักประวัติศาสตร์การทหาร (3) นาย Gee Thomson ผู้สืบเชื้อสายจากผู้ที่ได้รับการฝึกในสหราชอาณาจักรและปฏิบัติภารกิจในประเทศไทย และมีนายเผด็จ ขำเลิศสกุล จาก The National Archives เป็นผู้ดำเนินรายการ โดยงานดังกล่าวมีสมาชิกสมาคม ATS นักเรียนนักศึกษาไทย และผู้สนใจ เข้าร่วมประมาณ 80 คน

Ambassador of Thailand to the UK attends the seminar “Secret Allies: The SOE and the Thai Resistance in the Second World War”

On 11 April 2026, Ambassador Nadhavathna Krishnamra and Mrs. Priabthip Krishnamra, spouse, together with official from the Royal Thai Embassy, attended the seminar “Secret Allies: The Special Operations Executive (SOE) and the Thai Resistance in the Second World War.” The event was organised by the Anglo-Thai Society in collaboration with the Secret WW2 Learning Network at The National Archives in London.

On this occasion, the Ambassador delivered opening remarks, referring to the cooperation between the UK’s SOE and the Thai resistance movement during the Second World War. He highlighted their role in intelligence operations and networks in Thailand, which represent another aspect of the longstanding ties between Thailand and the UK.

The seminar featured distinguished speakers who shared their expertise and insights, including: (1) Mr. Paul McCue, Executive Trustee of the Secret WW2 Learning Network, (2) Ms. Kate Reid-Smith, military historian, and (3) Mr. Gee Thomson, a descendant of UK-basedThai nationals who operated in Thailand. The session was moderated by Mr. Padej Kumlertsakul from The National Archives and joined by approximately 80 participants, including members of the ATS, Thai students, and enthusiasts.

สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลอนดอน ร่วมงานวันสงกรานต์ ณ วัดพุทธปทีป กรุงลอนดอน

เมื่อวันที่ 12 เมษายน 2569 นายณัฐวัฒน์ กฤษณามระ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลอนดอน และนางเปรียบทิพย์ กฤษณามระ ภริยา พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตและทีมประเทศไทย ณ กรุงลอนดอน และครอบครัว ได้เข้าร่วมพิธีทำบุญเนื่องในโอกาสวันสงกรานต์ ณ วัดพุทธปทีป กรุงลอนดอน โดยได้ร่วมทำบุญตักบาตรและถวายภัตตาหารเพลแด่คณะสงฆ์

ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เป็นประธานเปิดงานวันสงกรานต์ประจำปี 2569 ของวัดพุทธปทีป ร่วมกับนาย Martin Whelton ผู้ว่าการเขต Merton และพระราชวิเทศปัญญาคุณ เจ้าอาวาสวัดพุทธปทีป โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯได้กล่าวคำอวยพรเนื่องในโอกาสวันสงกรานต์แก่ชาวไทย ชาวบริติช และชาวต่างชาติ ที่มาร่วมงานกว่า 3,000 คน นอกจากนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ และภริยา ได้เยี่ยมชมร้านจำหน่ายอาหารและสินค้าไทยเพื่ออุดหนุนและให้กำลังใจผู้ประกอบการและชุมชนไทยในสหราชอาณาจักรด้วย

อนึ่ง วัดพุทธปทีป จัดงานสงกรานต์เป็นประจำทุกปี โดยในปีนี้ จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 11-12 เมษายน 2569 โดยมีการแสดงทางวัฒนธรรม การบรรเลงดนตรีไทย ตลอดจนซุ้มจำหน่ายอาหารและสินค้าไทยจำนวนมาก ซึ่งเป็นงานสงกรานต์ที่มีผู้เข้าร่วมงานมากที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งในภูมิภาคยุโรป

The Royal Thai Embassy in London Participates in Songkran Festival at Buddhapadipa Temple, London

On 12 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK, and Mrs. Priabthip Krishnamra, spouse, as well as members of the Embassy and Team Thailand in London and their families attended the merit making ceremony on the occasion of Songkran or Thai New Year at Buddhapadipa Temple in London. They also took part in alms-giving and offering food to the sangha.

On this occasion, Ambassador Khrisnamra gave opening remarks for the 2026 Songkran Festival as well as offered Thai New Year well-wishes to over 3,000 Thais, Brits, and foreigners joining the festival, together with Councilor Martin Whelton, Mayor of Merton, and Phra Ratchawithetpanyakhun, Abbot of the temple.
Ambassdor Khrisnamra and spouse also visited Thai food and product stalls to give support to Thai vendors and communities in the UK.

Buddhapadipa temple organises Songkran Festival every year. This year’s festival was held between 11-12 April 2026. Highlights of the festival includes Thai traditional musical performances, Thai cultural dances and Songkran beauty pageant contest. Songkran festival at Buddhapadipa Temple are among the most visited Songkran festivals in Europe.

สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลอนดอน ขอแสดงความยินดีกับ ร้อยตรี รวิชญ์ วาณิชยากรกุล ในโอกาสได้รับรางวัล International Sword เนื่องในพิธีสำเร็จการศึกษาจากโรงเรียนนายร้อยแซนด์เฮิร์สต์ สหราชอาณาจักร
ในการนี้ พันเอก อภิชาติ วรรณาเรศน์ ผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารบกไทย ณ กรุงลอนดอน ได้เข้าร่วมในพิธีดังกล่าวด้วย

The Royal Thai Embassy in London extends its warmest congratulations to Second Lieutenant Ravich Vanichayakornkul on the occasion of being awarded the International Sword upon his graduation from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, United Kingdom.
Colonel Apichat Wannares, Military Attaché and Assistant Defence Attaché of Thailand in London, also attended the ceremony.

ร.ต.รวิชญ์ วาณิชยากรกุล นักเรียนเตรียมทหารรุ่น60 (ตท.60) นักเรียนนายร้อยพระจุลจอมเกล้าฯ รุ่น 71 (จปร.71) สังกัด ร.2 พัน.1 รอ. ได้รับรางวัล International Sword เมื่อจบการศึกษา ณ โรงเรียนนายร้อย Sandhurst
“รางวัล International Sword” คือ รางวัลเกียรติยศสูงสุดที่มอบให้กับนักเรียนนายร้อยต่างชาติ (International Officer Cadet) ที่เข้าศึกษาหลักสูตรนายทหารสัญญาบัตร ณ โรงเรียนนายร้อยทหารบกแซนด์เฮิสต์ (Royal Military Academy Sandhurst - RMAS) สหราชอาณาจักร
โดยรางวัลจะมอบให้กับนักเรียนนายร้อยจากต่างชาติที่มีความโดดเด่นและทำผลงานได้ยอดเยี่ยมที่สุดในรุ่น (Best of the Intake) โดยพิจารณาจากผลการประเมินด้านความเป็นผู้นำ ความแข็งแกร่งทางร่างกายและจิตใจ รวมถึงทัศนคติตลอดระยะเวลาการฝึกอบรม 44 สัปดาห์
“รางวัล International Sword” ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากกระทรวงกลาโหมแห่งรัฐคูเวต เพื่อเป็นอนุสรณ์แด่ Sheikh Ali Al Sabah อดีตรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงกลาโหมของคูเวต

รางวัลนี้จะถูกส่งมอบให้ในพิธีสวนสนาม Sovereign's Parade ซึ่งเป็นพิธีจบการศึกษาอย่างเป็นทางการของนักเรียนนายร้อย ในแต่ละปีมีนักเรียนนายร้อยจากหลากหลายประเทศทั่วโลก (รวมถึงประเทศไทย) ถูกส่งไปศึกษาที่สถาบันแห่งนี้ การได้รับรางวัล International Sword จึงถือเป็นความภาคภูมิใจอย่างยิ่ง เนื่องจากเป็นสิ่งยืนยันถึงความมุ่งมั่น ความเป็นผู้นำ และความสามารถทางทหารของนายทหารสัญญาบัตรไทยในระดับสากล

สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลอนดอนจัดโครงการกงสุลสัญจร ณ เมืองคาร์ดิฟฟ์

สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลอนดอนจัดโครงการกงสุลสัญจร ณ เมืองคาร์ดิฟฟ์ ระหว่างวันที่ 28-29 มีนาคม 2569 ณ โรงแรม Hilton Cardiff โดยมีประชาชนไทยในเมืองคาร์ดิฟฟ์และเมืองใกล้เคียงมาทำหนังสือเดินทาง บัตรประชาชน สูติบัตร และนิติกรณ์ รวมทั้งรับคำปรึกษาด้านต่าง ๆ จำนวนมาก

ในโอกาสดังกล่าว นายจารุภูมิ เรืองสุวรรณ อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา ได้พบหารือกับนาย Theo Coliandris กงสุลกิตติมศักดิ์ประจำเมืองคาร์ดิฟฟ์ เกี่ยวกับการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ของกงสุลกิตติมศักดิ์ในการสนับสนุนสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เสริมสร้างเครือข่ายทางการเมืองและเศรษฐกิจกับแคว้นเวลส์เพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือระหว่างไทย-สหราชอาณาจักร รวมทั้งการให้การช่วยเหลือและสนับสนุนกิจกรรมของชุมชนไทยในแคว้นเวลส์และพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง

อนึ่ง สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลอนดอน ดำเนินโครงการกงสุลสัญจร อย่างต่อเนื่องตลอดทั้งปี เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกด้านการบริการกงสุลแก่ประชาชนไทยในสหราชอาณาจักร โดยครั้งต่อไปกำหนดจัดขึ้นที่เมืองลีดส์ ระหว่างวันที่ 25-26 เมษายน 2569

The Royal Thai Embassy in London organises mobile consular services in Cardiff

The Royal Thai Embassy in London organised mobile consular services in Cardiff during 28-29 March 2026. Members of the Thai community in Cardiff and its vicinities in Wales received various services including issuance of passports, ID cards, birth certificate, and legalisation as well as consultation on different issues.

On this occasion, Mr. Charubhumi Ruangsuwan, Minister Counsellor, met with Mr. Theo Coliandris, Honorary Consul of Thailand in Cardiff to discuss the Honorary Consul’s role in facilitating the embassy’s work in expanding political and economic outreach to enhance relations and cooperation between Thailand and the UK. The Honorary-Consul’s important role in assisting and supporting the activities of the Thai community in Wales were also discussed.

The Royal Thai Embassy in London regularly organises mobile consular services across the UK. Another mobile consular service visit will be in Leeds between 25-26 April 2026.
