Hackney Salad

Hackney Salad Ultra-local and ultra-fresh. Grown in Hackney, eaten in Hackney. Available through Growing Communiti

Growing Communities' ultra-local mixed Hackney Salad is grown on our organic ‘Patchwork Farm’ sites in parks and on estates, church land and gardens around the east London borough. It's then hand-picked and delivered by bike or electric milk-float for Growing Communities’ organic veg bag scheme or to local shops and restaurants, so it's super-fresh and very tasty. You can buy it at several Hackney

shops or eat it at cafes and restaurants around the borough. Over the year, we grow more than 123 varieties of leaf and flower, and any one bag will probably contain more than 30 different types of leaf.
