If a bird could win The Traitors, it would probably be a cuckoo. 🐤

Common cuckoos are brood parasites. This means they do n’t raise their own young, but instead they sneak their eggs into other birds’ nests.

Once hatched, the baby cuckoo pushes its host’s eggs (or chicks) out of the nest to ensure it gets all the food and attention from its adoptive parents. 😬

🐘 Federico Veronesi takes home the adult Grand Title for his impactful shot, ‘The Aftermath’. Capturing a female elephant carrying a deceased calf, his image makes us think about the complex animal behaviours around death.

🪲 Oscar Whitfield is the young Grand Title winner with 'Labour of Love’, in which he shines a light on the importance of dung beetles and the vital role they play in their environments.
