The final session in the AI Workshop Series for Newham Businesses

The final Newham Sparks AI basics session, in collaboration with London Design and Engineering, will take place on Tuesday at East Ham Town Hall. The event will feature surprises and details on further opportunities for free digital and data training in Newham. Whether you have attended one of the previous sessions, or have not yet made it – we would love to welcome you to this event.

Session 6 will cover how 3D scanning can be used for personal projects and beyond.

This is for all types of businesses, whether you are a corner shop, hairdresser, high street shop or any other business in Newham. You do not need to have any existing awareness of technology in order to join, it is designed for complete beginners.

Funding for SMEs tackling the climate emergency
SHIFT, east London’s innovation agency based at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, has launched the second round of the Future Industries Demonstrator Programme.
Pioneering start-ups and SMEs are invited to apply for the next Open Innovation Challenge calling for solutions that reduce or prevent carbon emissions in the construction and energy sectors.
The Future Industries Demonstrator will rapidly scale and launch your innovation, with successful applicants receiving up to £25,000 plus access to co-working spaces and tailored support.

Applications close at 23:59 on Friday 15 March.
