During his recent transit through London, Haiti’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Victor Harvel Jean-Baptiste, visited the Embassy of Haiti in the United Kingdom.

The Minister spent time with our team to discuss key diplomatic priorities, and the exchange offered a welcome moment to connect directly, share updates, and reflect together on the work ahead.

The Embassy was grateful for the visit and the opportunity to engage with the Minister. We look forward to continuing this close collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as we advance Haiti’s interests abroad.

One month on, communities in southern Haiti are still recovering from the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa.

Ambassador Anaïse Manuel visited the FCDO Crisis Room with Tim Hemmings, Head of the Caribbean and Small Island Developing States Department, while Hurricane Melissa was ravaging the region, to review the unfolding situation. The Embassy thanks the FCDO and Tim Hemmings for their support and for guiding the Ambassador through the Crisis Room.

We are grateful for the United Kingdom’s steady support and its continued engagement as Haiti works toward recovery and greater resilience.
