Facilitated by the Rainbow Boroughs Project. This page has been set up for LGBT people and our friends who live, work or play in Westminster. It's aim

National Hate Crime Awareness Week aims to encourage the authorities (Government, Police, Councils), key partners (the anti-hate crime sector and third sector organisations) and communities affected by hate crime to work together to tackle hate crime across the UK.

We are seeking Statements of Support for this national week that we can share to promote the week.

Statements will be shared via our NationalHCAW Google Map, our website, and social media.

A light of HOPE.

A promise to never forget.

Each year we light a National Candle of Hope and Remembrance for those affected by Hate Crime during our national launch event.

The candle is then delivered to St Paul's Cathedral where it is displayed for the duration of National Hate Crime Awareness Week.
