In the last few years, we've heard clearly from residents that Perivale needs a stronger town centre, with better local facilities, more opportunities, and spaces where people can come together.

That's why we've developed some early ideas for a new civic heart for Perivale around the station.

This is the start of the conversation, not the end of one. We want to hear from you before anything happens. In a few weeks, you will have the chance to tell us want to see, what matters most to you, and how Perivale's future town centre should look and feel.

If you’d like to take part in this consultation later this month, please fill in this form: https://bit.ly/4rWQeQH

No venue is above the law when it comes to public safety. ❌

Following investigations by our food safety team, Shaam Hall in Park Royal Limited and its director were ordered by Uxbridge Magistrates Court to pay more than £14,000 for serious food hygiene offences, including ignoring an official closure notice.

After issuing the order in March 2025, our team returned days later to find this large scale event under way.

The business reopened a few days later after a reinspection found the risks had been removed.

However, it was closed for a second time in October 2025 after more evidence of mice was uncovered. It then reopened a week later.

Shaam Hall was last inspected in June this year and currently has a food hygiene score of 3.

Always check a business’s food hygiene rating before dining out.

Big news… We’re making it easier for you to get rid of unwanted items for free, closer to home. ♻️

Following a successful trial event earlier this year, free community skip days are coming to every town in the borough.

The events will help you dispose of bulky household items responsibly, making it easier for unwanted items to be reused or recycled rather than thrown away.

You can bring a range of household items, from furniture, to mattresses, to clothing and small electrical items.

Sign up to receive updates for when an event is coming to your area and see what you can bring 👇

1 minute to learn about Ealing’s water voles! ⏱️🐭🌿

Here’s the breakdown from our wildlife walk at Pear Tree Park with Zoo:

📉 The Problem: From 8 million in the UK to less than 100,000 today. Ealing’s last water vole on the River Brent disappeared in 2019.

🌾 Why They Matter: They are "riverbank gardeners" spreading seeds, creating habitats, and boosting overall river health!

🤝 The Plan: Citizen Zoo, Thames21, Ealing Wildlife Group & Ealing Council are partnering to bring them back!

🌱 Want to get involved? Sign up for habitat assessment training next spring to help survey our rivers and get the Brent ready for their return!
