We offer 24-hour residential care, including specialist dementia care and respite care. Our respite care service offers caregivers and family carers an opportunity to have a break from responsibilities. Weybourne Care Home has received a CQC rating of ‘good’ and has excellent staffing levels, guaranteeing exceptional person-centred care. Our committed team focuses on the health and well-being of our residents, helping with any extra support, including daily tasks, companionship, and activity guidance. This week is Loneliness Awareness Week, and we wanted to highlight an activity that brings joy and conection to our home every single week: Songs & Smiles by !
We all know that loneliness can affect anyone. However for older people in the UK, the risk of experiencing severe loneliness higher than other age group.
We are doing what we can to make sure our residents don't feel lonely - which is where intergenerational activities come in!
When the babies, toddlers and grown-ups visit each week for Songs & Smiles, the residents light up. Age gaps disappear and the magic of connection takes over.
We are so proud to partnership with to tackle lonelines s one song and smile at a time.
