We did it!! We finally made it to and it was bloody amazing!! This tour is simply essential for Bowie fans but I would honestly recommend it to anyone who wants to know more about the vibrant culture of NYC, particularly Greenwich Village.

Jason was a wonderful tour guide, super friendly and knowledgeable with wealth of experience and insight that dove deep into David Bowie's rich and fascinating history whilst in New York. We can't wait to see you again Jason!

We were smitten with how good this tour was and it was the absolute highlight of our trip to NYC.

At the tender age of 16, David Bowie was the most exciting thing ever to come into my life. The songs, the aesthetics, the unruly variety, the Englishness, the otherworldly mystery of his creations and the sheer creative freedom he displayed. His was the most inspiring, rebellious realisation of art I had ever encountered.

Cygnet Committee | David Bowie cover | Nick Stephenson

Cygnet Committee is one of those lesser known David Bowie gems from early on in his career. This epic track is taken from the 'Space Oddity' LP from 1969 and at over 9 minuets, was David's longest studio recording at the time.

Amazing imagery dominates throughout, I get totally lost in this song everytime I hear it or sing it. Bowie's labyrinthine structure dares the listener to follow him all the way to the bottom of the rabbit hole. This is masterful songwriting from an artist still years away from the dizzy heights he would reach throughout the 1970s and beyond.

Good to see this posted on BOWIE KOOKS this morning ☺️

This is David Bowie in concert at Manchester's Old Trafford Cricket Ground, I was at this gig!

Bowie was brilliant (obviously) and it rained all day 😂 lots of stuff from Heathen performed as the record was fairly new at the time
