ππ€ "This term, Year 9 students are studying a unit called Prisoners of Geography, exploring the challenges that different people face in having their human rights upheld and respected. This week, we have been learning about the struggles that LGBTQ+ people face around the world and how their dignity and rights can be compromised. This learning is particularly relevant during the month of June, when our school recognises Pride Month and reflects on the ongoing challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community. Through discussion and critical thinking, students have been developing their understanding of equality, respect and human rights." ~ Mr Cooper
