We’re always working to make Brockwell Lido the best it can be. We’ve recently made a number of improvements to help enhance your experience. Here’s what’s new:

Service Improvements:
🛟 Our team has been growing! We’ve recently welcomed new lifeguards and delivered training sessions for both new and existing staff
✅ A new pool water testing kit is now in use to help us maintain excellent water quality
❄️ New winter uniforms have arrived! As the colder months approach, our team are all set to stay warm, comfortable and ready to welcome you to Brockwell Lido throughout the season

Members Experience:
💧 We replaced the poolside water fountain tap
🌐 We’ve made improvements to the Brockwell Lido website, helping visitors find centre and seasonal pool opening hours more easily
📋 We Installed two new “Brockwell Lido and Beyond” notice boards at the pool entrance and deep end to keep you informed about everything happening around the lido

Unfortunately, due to staffing shortages, we’ve had to make some temporary changes to our operating hours, which have affected some sessions over the past week.

We're very sorry to let you know that this disruption will continue this afternoon and tomorrow (Tuesday), and the lido will need to close at 3:00pm on both days.

We explored every possible option to keep the pool open for longer today, but unfortunately this has not been possible. We understand how disappointing and frustrating this may be, especially if you had planned a swim, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

We want to reassure you that we’re working hard behind the scenes to resolve the situation. New lifeguards will be joining the team while our existing staff continue their training to help strengthen our workforce and return to normal opening hours as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support while we work through this. We’ll keep you updated with any further changes to our opening hours.

The weather is starting to feel more autumnal, with colder and cloudier days on the way. 🌥️🍂 As the days get shorter, our opening hours will gradually change throughout October.

Here’s when you can enjoy your lido dip:

Week commencing 5 October*
7:15am – 6:15pm

*Please note on Monday 5 October: We will open at 8:30am due to an event. Thank you for your understanding.

Week commencing 12 October
7:30am – 6:00pm

Week commencing 19 October
7:30am – 5:45pm

Week commencing 26 October
7:30am – 4:30pm

Weekends throughout October
7:30am – 3:00pm

The water is sitting at a refreshing 19.3°C and, with autumn well and truly here, we probably won’t see it back above 20°C this side of the year! 🥶🏊‍♀️

Unfortunately, Brockwell Lido (pool) will not be able to open as planned this morning.

Our team is working hard to rectify the situation and get the pool open as soon as possible.

The pool has dropped to 18.9°C, which is considerably cooler than we’ve been used to recently!

🏊 General swimming is still running after school, but we recommend suitable swimwear for younger swimmers, such as a wetsuit or additional layers, to help keep them comfortable in the cooler water.
