MULA is getting ready for space! 🚀

The Philippines’ most advanced satellite to date, the Multispectral Unit for Land Assessment (MULA), is now fully built and undergoing space-environment testing in the United Kingdom.

In partnership with British satellite manufacturer Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd. (SSTL), MULA is being put through rigorous testing to verify that it can meet the technical and mission requirements needed for its journey to orbit.

From agriculture and environmental monitoring to disaster risk reduction and maritime awareness, MULA will help put high-quality Earth observation data to work for the Philippines.

This is more than a satellite—it’s a major step in building Filipino expertise, technology and sovereign space capabilities. 🇵🇭🛰️
