Bedfords Park Nature Discovery Centre - EWT Welcome to an Essex Wildlife Trust Discovery Centre! Offering stunning views over London, feed the deer and enjoy the play area.

Take a wander through the many exotic trees and enjoy a treat from the café. Set in the stunning grounds of Bedfords Park, an historic parkland site of 215 acres, owned and managed by the London Borough of Havering. The nature reserve affords fantastic views over London and into Kent. The Nature Discovery Centre offers visitors a warm welcome and the opportunity to find out about the wildlife within the park. The park includes many valuable habitats such as mature woodland, species rich wildflower meadows, ponds, streams and marshy areas. The Nature Discovery Centre is built on the site of the former mansion and it commands superb views over much of east London and into Kent. We run events and activities and weekly groups for children, with something for everyone. The centre offers light refreshments, snacks and a gift shop, with seating available inside and outside there is a large decked area to relax on sunny days.

Our Summer Craft Market is today!!!

Join us today, Saturday 18th July between 11am and 3pm when planet-friendly, local artisanal sellers and makers will be joining us at Bedfords Park Nature Discovery Centre - EWT

Stalls will include home fragrance, macrame, prints and stationery, local honey, jewellery, flowers and plants, sustainable accessories, home decor, ethically sourced crystals and gemstones, natural skincare, hand carved wood, face painting, and lots more!

Our centre will be open as usual from 10am, the market will be open from 11am to 3pm, and the centre will close at 5pm.

We have ice creams, iced coffees and teas, slushies, matchas, and coolers. Hot and cold sandwiches, toasties, sausage rolls. Our fridges and freezers are full and ready for your visit.

If you just need some fresh air after all of the heat, the sun is shining and there is a refreshing gentle breeze to keep you cool. The park is looking beautiful this morning, the weather is perfect for a visit.

We can’t wait for you to see what we have arranged!

Join us on Saturday 18th July between 11am and 3pm when planet-friendly, local artisanal sellers and makers will be joining us at Bedfords Park Nature Discovery Centre - EWT
