​အစည်းအဝေးတွင် ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီးက အဖွင့်အမှာစကားပြောကြားရာတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအနေဖြင့် အာဆီယံနှင့် ပုံမှန်ထိတွေ့ဆက်ဆံနေသည့် လမ်းကြောင်းအပြင် အာဆီယံနှင့် ဆက်သွယ်ဆောင်ရွက်မည့် ကော်မတီတစ်ရပ်ကို ဖွဲ့စည်း၍ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ ပြုလုပ်သွားရန်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း၊ အာဆီယံအနေဖြင့် ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်၊ နောက်ပိုင်းတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအပေါ် ခွဲခြားဆက်ဆံမှုများရှိခဲ့သော်လည်း မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသည် တာဝန်သိ အာဆီယံအဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံ တစ်နိုင်ငံအနေနှင့် အာဆီယံထုတ်ပြန်ချက် (၅) ရပ်ကို ယခင်နိုင်ငံတော်စီမံအုပ်ချုပ်ရေးကောင်စီလက်ထက်တွင် ချမှတ်ခဲ့သည့် ရှေ့လုပ်ငန်းစဉ် (၅) ရပ်နှင့်အညီ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ အချုပ်အခြာအာဏာနှင့် အမျိုးသားအကျိုးစီးပွားကို ထိခိုက်မှုမရှိစေဘဲ အဖြစ်နိုင်ဆုံး အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပါကြောင်း၊ အာဆီယံနှင့် ဆက်ဆံရာတွင် တစ်နိုင်ငံချင်းအလိုက် ဦးစားပေးအဆင့်လိုက် ထိတွေ့ဆက်ဆံလျက်ရှိပါကြောင်း ထည့်သွင်းပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။ ဆက်လက်၍ ကော်မတီဒုတိယဥက္ကဋ္ဌ၊ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီးက အာဆီယံထုတ်ပြန်ချက် (၅) ရပ်နှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ နိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရ၏ ရှေ့လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များနှင့်အညီ တစ်ချက်ချင်းစီအလိုက် အကောင်အထည်ဖော် ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့မှုများကို ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။
​ယင်းနောက် အစည်းအဝေးသို့ တက်ရောက်လာသည့် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များက မြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့် အာဆီယံအဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများအကြား လက်ရှိနှစ်နိုင်ငံဆက်ဆံရေးကို အခြေခံကာ အာဆီယံအတွင်း မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ မူလအခန်းကဏ္ဍနှင့် အခွင့်အရေးကို ပြန်လည်ထိန်းသိမ်းဆောင်ရွက်ရာတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံက ဦးဆောင်သော မြန်မာ့ကိုယ်ပိုင်နည်းလမ်းဖြင့် ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်မည့် နည်းလမ်းများကို အကြံပြုဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြသည်။

First Coordination Meeting of the ASEAN Affairs Committee held
(13-10-2026, Nay Pyi Taw)
The first coordination meeting of the ASEAN Affairs Committee, presided over by U Tin Maung Swe, Chairman of the Committee and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, was held on 13 October 2026 at 14:00 hours at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman of the Committee and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Naing Min Kyaw, along with members and representatives from the Ministry of the Office of the President, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Information and Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement.
In his opening remarks, the Union Minister stated that in addition to the existing channels of engagement with ASEAN, Myanmar will cooperate with ASEAN through the Committee. He highlighted that despite facing discriminatory treatment towards Myanmar since 2021, Myanmar, as a responsible ASEAN Member State, has implemented the ASEAN Five-Point Statement to the fullest extent possible in line with the Five-Point Roadmap laid down by the then State Administration Council, without compromising its sovereignty and national interests. He added that engagement with ASEAN is being pursued bilaterally with individual member states. Subsequently Vice Chairman of the Committee and the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs underscored the progress achieved under the ASEAN Five-Point Statement in line with the Government’s Roadmap.
During the Meeting, members of the Committee discussed and exchanged views on Myanmar-owned and Myanmar-led process in restoring Myanmar’s original role and rights within ASEAN building on the existing bilateral relations between Myanmar and ASEAN Member States.

ထိုသို့ဆောင်ရွက်ပေးလျက်ရှိရာမြန်မာအစိုးရအနေဖြင့် ၂၃-၂-၂၀၂၁ ရက်နေ့တွင် မလေးရှားနိုင်ငံ၌ တရားမဝင်နေထိုင်မှုများနှင့် အခြားသောလူဝင်မှုကြီးကြပ်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ စည်းကမ်း ချက်များ ချိုးဖောက်မှုကြောင့် ပြစ်ဒဏ်များကျခံခဲ့ပြီးနောက် လူဝင်မှုကြီးကြပ်ရေးထိန်းသိမ်းရေး စခန်းများ၌ ထိန်းသိမ်းခံရကာ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသို့ပြန်ရန် အခက်အခဲကြုံတွေ့နေရသည့် မြန်မာ နိုင်ငံသားစိစစ်ပြီးသူ (၁,၀၈၆) ဦးကို လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုအရနှစ်နိုင်ငံအစိုးရချင်း ညှိနှိုင်းကာ မြန်မာ့တပ်မတော်ရေယာဉ်များဖြင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသို့ ပြန်လည်ခေါ်ဆောင်နိုင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
ထို့နောက် ၁၁-၃-၂၀၂၁ ရက်နေ့တွင် အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံအန်ဒမန်ကျွန်းရှိရေပိုင်နက်အတွင်းသို့ တရားမဝင်ဝင်ရောက်မှုဖြင့် အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ၊ ပို့ဘလဲမြို့၌ ထိန်းသိမ်းခံထားရသည့် မြန်မာ ရေလုပ်သား (၇၀) ဦးတို့ကိုလည်းနှစ်နိုင်ငံအစိုးရချင်းညှိနှိုင်းမှုဖြင့် တပ်မတော်မှ စစ်ရေယာဉ် (တပင်ရွှေထီး) ဖြင့် ပြန်လည်ခေါ်ဆောင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
၂၀၂၆ခုနှစ်တွင် ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံ၌ အခက်အခဲကြုံတွေ့နေရသည့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသား များအား တပ်မတော်လေယာဉ်၊ စင်းလုံးငှားလေယာဉ်၊ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာမြန်မာ့ လေကြောင်းလိုင်း (MAI) နှင့် AirAsia လေယာဉ်များဖြင့် ခေါ်ဆောင်ခဲ့ရာဇန်နဝါရီလမှ စက်တင်ဘာလ အထိမြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားစုစုပေါင်း (၁၉၀၅) ဦးကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ အိန္ဒိယရေပိုင်နက်အတွင်းသို့ တရားမဝင်ဝင်ရောက်မှုဖြင့် အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ၊ ပို့ဘလဲမြို့၌ ထိန်းသိမ်းခံထားရသည့် မြန်မာရေ လုပ်သား (၂၆) ဦးအား အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာမြန်မာ့လေကြောင်းလိုင်း (MAI) ဖြင့် ၂၃-၇-၂၀၂၆ ရက်နေ့တွင်လည်းကောင်း အသီးသီးပြန်လည်ခေါ်ယူနိုင်ခဲ့ပြီးဖြစ်ပါသည်။
ယခုအခါ မလေးရှားနိုင်ငံ၌ တရားမဝင်နေထိုင်မှုနှင့် အခြားသော လူဝင်မှုကြီးကြပ်ရေး ဆိုင်ရာ စည်းကမ်းချိုးဖောက်ခဲ့မှုများကြောင့် ပြစ်ဒဏ်ကျခံပြီးနောက် လူဝင်မှုကြီးကြပ်ရေးထိန်းသိမ်း ရေး စခန်းများတွင် ထိန်းသိမ်းခံထားသူများကို မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားမှန်ကန်မှု ရှိ/မရှိ ကို သက်ဆိုင်ရာဝန်ကြီးဌာနများနှင့် စိစစ်ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထိုသို့ စိစစ်ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပြီးနောက် ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇန်နဝါရီလမှ ဩဂုတ်လကုန်အထိ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားမှန်ကန်သူ (၈၀၄၁) ဦးကို လေယာဉ်ဖြင့် အပတ်စဉ် ပြန်လည်ခေါ်ဆောင်နိုင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့ပြင် လေယာဉ်စရိတ် မတတ်နိုင် သည့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားစိစစ်ပြီးသူ (၁,၄၇၆) ဦးအား မြန်မာ့တပ်မတော် (ရေ) မှ စစ်ရေယာဉ် (မုတ္တမ)၊ ပင်လယ်သွားဆေးရုံရေယာဉ် (သံလွင်)နှင့် စစ်ရေယာဉ် (ဆင်ဖြူရှင်) တို့ဖြင့် ပြန်လည်ခေါ်ဆောင် လာရာ ၄-၁၀-၂၀၂၆ ရက်တွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသို့ ချောမောစွာ ရောက်ရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။
နိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရအနေဖြင့် လက်ရှိအချိန်တွင် ပြည်တွင်း၌ အလုပ်အကိုင် အခွင့်အလမ်း သစ်များရရှိနိုင်ရေး ဆောင်ရွက်ပေးလျက်ရှိသည့် အားလျော်စွာ နိုင်ငံသားများအနေဖြင့် ပြည်တွင်း၌ စိုက်ပျိုးရေး၊ မွေးမြူရေး၊ အသေးစား၊ အငယ်စားနှင့် အလတ်စား စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်း များစသည့် စီးပွားရေးကဏ္ဍများတွင် အလုပ်လုပ်ကိုင်ကြခြင်းဖြင့် နိုင်ငံတော်၏ ကုန်ထုတ်လုပ်မှု စွမ်းအားကို မြှင့်တင်နိုင်ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားများအနေဖြင့် ဂုဏ်သိက္ခာရှိပြီး လုံခြုံစိတ်ချရသည့် လူနေမှုဘဝကို ရရှိနိုင်မည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
သို့ဖြစ်ရာ ပြည်ပသို့ သွားရောက်အလုပ်လုပ်ကိုင်လိုသည့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားများအနေဖြင့် လူကုန်ကူးပွဲစားများ၏ မက်လုံးပေး ဆွဲဆောင်စည်းရုံးမှုများကို အယုံမလွယ်ကြရန်၊ တရားမဝင် နယ်စပ်ဂိတ်များမှတစ်ဆင့် ပြည်ပသို့ တရားမဝင် ထွက်ခွာမှုများကို ရှောင်ကြဉ်ကြပါရန်နှင့် လူကုန်ကူးခံရမှုမရှိစေရေး သတိပြုဆင်ခြင်နိုင်ကြပါရန် သတိပေးနှိုးဆော်အပ်ပါသည်။
နိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရသည် ပြည်ပတွင် ရောက်ရှိနေသည့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားများအား မည်သို့သော အခြေအနေတွင်ဖြစ်စေ အခက်အခဲကြုံတွေ့လာပါက နိုင်ငံသားများအပေါ် အလေးအနက် တန်ဖိုးထားကူညီစောင့်ရှောက်ပေးလျက်ရှိပါသည်။
သို့ဖြစ်ရာနောင်တွင်လည်း ပြည်ပရောက် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားများအနေဖြင့် အခက်အခဲ တစ်စုံ တစ်ရာကြုံတွေ့လာပါက မြန်မာသံရုံးများနှင့် မြန်မာကောင်စစ်ဝန်ချုပ်ရုံးများသို့ ဆက်သွယ်သတင်းပို့ နိုင်ပါကြောင်းနှင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသို့ အေးချမ်းလုံခြုံစွာ အမြန်ဆုံးပြန်လည်ရောက်ရှိနိုင်ရန် သက်ဆိုင်ရာ နိုင်ငံများနှင့် ချိတ်ဆက်၍ စီစဉ်ဆောင်ရွက်ပေးသွားမည်ဖြစ်ပါကြောင်း ဖော်ပြအပ်ပါသည်။

Ministry of Foreign Affairs facilitates repatriation of Myanmar nationals facing difficulties abroad
Under the guidance of the Government of Myanmar, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has placed great emphasis on providing necessary consular assistance through Myanmar Embassies and Consulates-General to assist in the rescue and repatriation of Myanmar nationals facing difficulties abroad for various reasons.
In this regard, the Government of Myanmar, in close coordination with the Government of Malaysia repatriated 1,086 verified Myanmar nationalswho had been detained at the Malaysian Immigration detention camps and faced difficulties following the completion of their respective sentences due to their illegal stay and violation of the immigration regulations. The repatriation was carried out by Myanmar Navy vessels on humanitarian grounds on 23 February 2021.
Moreover, through close coordination between the two Governments, 70 Myanmar fishermen who had been detained in Port Blair, India, for illegally entering Indian territorial waters were repatriated to Myanmar on 11 March 2021 aboard the Myanmar Navy vessel UMS Tabinshwehti.
From January to September 2026, a total of 1,905 Myanmar nationals who encountered difficulties in Cambodia, were repatriated to Myanmar through various means of transportation including, Tatmadaw aircraft, chartered flights operated by MAI and AirAsia. In addition,a total of 26 Myanmar fishermen, who were detained in Port Blair in Indiafor illegally entering Indian territorial waters were repatriated to Myanmar by Myanmar International Airlines (MAI) on 23 July 2026.
The necessary national verification process for Myanmar nationals was conducted in close coordination with relevant Ministries for those who had completed their sentences due to their illegal stay and violation of immigration regulations but remained in the immigration detention camps.Following the verification process, 8,041 Myanmar nationals were repatriated to Myanmar by air on a weekly basis. Moreover, 1,476 verified Myanmar nationals who could not afford airfare were repatriated aboard Myanmar Navy vessels, namely UMS Moattama, UMS ThanLwin and UMS Sin Phyu Shin, and they arrived safely in Myanmar today.
As the Government is currently making efforts to create new employment opportunitieswithin the country, Myanmar nationals will have greater opportunities to contribute to enhancingnational productivity by engaging in various economic sectors such as agriculture, livestock and breeding, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), thereby enabling them to achieve dignified, safe and secure livelihood.
Therefore, Myanmar nationals who wish to seek employment abroad are advised to exercise caution and not be easily persuaded by the inducements and promises of the human traffickers. They are also urged to avoid leaving the country illegally through unauthorized border crossing and to remain vigilant against the risks of human trafficking.
Regardless of the circumstances, the Government has demonstrated its profound concern for the well-being of Myanmar nationals residing abroad and provided them with necessary assistance whenever they encounter difficulties.
Therefore, Myanmar nationals residing abroad who encounter any difficulties are encouraged to contact Myanmar Embassies and Consulates-General. Necessary arrangements will be made, in coordination with the authorities of the respective countries, to facilitate their safe return to Myanmar at the earliest possible opportunity.

Successful Conclusion of the 8th Myanmar-China (Yunnan) Cooperation Forum in Nay Pyi Taw
Myanmar successfully hosted the 8th Myanmar-China (Yunnan) Cooperation Forum at the MGallery Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw on 29 September 2026.
The forum was attended by the Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs H.E. U Ko Ko Kyaw, along with representatives from 19 line ministries, the Mandalay Region Government, the Shan State Government, the Central Bank of Myanmar and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI). The Chinese delegation was led by H.E. Mr. Zhao Junmin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee.
In his opening address, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs emphasized that the relationship between Myanmar and Yunnan Province serves as the "Frontline Foundation of broader China-Myanmar 'Pauk-Phaw' Relationship". He noted that Yunnan Province, which shares a nearly 2,000-kilometer border with Myanmar, accounts for more than half of total bilateral trade and continues to expand cooperation across various sectors. He called for implementing practical, mutually beneficial initiatives and cooperation through the forum, further enhancing the bilateral "Pauk-Phaw" friendship, and strengthening cooperation under the Yunnan Cooperation Forum framework.
Following the opening ceremony, representatives from the respective ministries conducted sector-specific breakout discussions. The sessions were co-chaired on the Myanmar side by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Planning, Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, and on the Chinese side by the Deputy Secretary of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee and representatives from its Publicity Department. The discussions focused key attention on maintaining peace, stability, and the rule of law in border areas; jointly combatting cross-border crime; boosting trade, economic ties, and regional connectivity; expanding direct air routes between Myanmar and Yunnan Province; promoting industrial growth and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs); fostering people-to-people ties and deepening exchanges and high-level visits between sister cities.
At the conclusion of the breakout sessions, the plenary meeting was convened where the two group leaders summarized the main outcomes. Subsequently, the head of the Myanmar delegation (Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs) and the head of the Chinese delegation (Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee) signed the Agreed Minutes of the Forum.
At noon, Deputy Minister H.E. U Ko Ko Kyaw hosted a working luncheon in honour of the Chinese delegation led by H.E. Mr. Zhao Junmin.
The Myanmar-China (Yunnan) Cooperation Forum has been held alternately in Myanmar and Yunnan Province since 2013. It serves as a platform aimed at deepening cooperation on stability and the rule of law in border areas, economic and regional connectivity, and people-to-people ties and cultural integration, as well as amicably coordinating and resolving challenges and obstacles encountered in cooperation between Myanmar and Yunnan Province.

ထိုသို့တွေ့ဆုံရာတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့် ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတနိုင်ငံတို့အကြား ရှိရင်းစွဲ ချစ်ကြည်ရင်းနှီးမှုနှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ မြှင့်တင်သွားရန် ရင်းနှီးပွင့်လင်းစွာ အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ် ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြသည်။

U Ko Ko Kyaw, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr. Bae Byeongsoo, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Yangon, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on 24 September 2026 at 1400 hours.
