We look forward to seeing Y7-Y12 students back in school on Thursday 3 September. Y7 and Y12 will start at 8.35am on this day and Y8, Y9, Y10 and Y11 will arrive at 1.40pm. Coverage of our brilliant GCSE results in the Ham & High:

Acland Burghley School saw 76 per cent of students achieve a grade 4 or above in English and maths, with an average attainment score of 54.4.

More pictures from this week's Summer School. Students had time to familiarise themselves with the building and also received sessions on managing the big step of secondary school transition.

We loved welcoming our new Y7s to the Summer School this morning! Students learned about sequencing and probability in maths, created characters and stories in DT, practised drum beats in music, played football in PE and made indicators from cabbage to test for acids and alkalines in science.

Henry, Conor, Kit, Jaeden, Sylvan and Sid amassed an impressive fifteen 9s, twenty-one 8s, ten 7s, one 6 and six 5s between them! They are pictured with Year Team Leader Mr Allen and Head of School Ms Collins. Well done to them all.

We're incredibly proud of our students this morning. They've achieved Acland Burghley's best GCSE results since curriculum reform in 2017, by a significant margin. They have done well at every level across a broad curriculum.
