Nationwide Association of Fostering Providers

Nationwide Association of Fostering Providers Campaigning for independent fostering agencies and the children for whom they care since 2008 NAFP understands their unique role.

NAFP is the only UK organisation that campaigns solely for independent and voluntary sector fostering agencies (IFAs). Every year, IFPs care for more children and their foster carers make a special contribution to the lives of children. Our mission is:

To be the voice of the independent and voluntary fostering sector for children and young people, and to promote high standards of professional and

business practice within the membership

Our members represent over 95% of children living with foster carers from the independent sector across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. We hold regular regional meetings and campaign locally, regionally and nationally for a level playing field in the placement of children and commissioning of foster care. Membership is open to all registered independent fostering providers - by working together, we will be stronger.
