What a wonderful week itβs been across our homes. We have had some really special social moments that are all about bringing people together and creating real connection π
At Heath Lodge Care Centre, weβve enjoyed a lovely mix of activities, from jigsaws and word searches to colouring sessions. Our ball games also brought lots of smiles, with everyone joining in at their own pace and encouraging one another π§©π¨
Garden walks have been a real highlight too, giving our wonderful residents time to enjoy the fresh air, greenery and easy conversation. Weβve also shared some very meaningful moments through sensory activities and doll therapy, offering comfort, reassurance and a calm sense of togetherness π
At St Katharine's House, our weekly community outings continue to be something everyone looks forward to. Whether itβs a visit to a garden centre, museum or a wander through charity shops, thereβs always something new to enjoy. These trips bring a lovely sense of independence and plenty of stories to share on the way home πΏ
At Lucton House Care Home, we enjoyed a peaceful walk over to Rowheath Pavilion, making the most of the sunshine and fresh air and taking time to take in our surroundings βοΈ
Marlborough Court Care Home also shared a very special moment recently as Moira celebrated her 81st birthday. Surrounded by love and family, including some who travelled all the way from Australia, it was a truly heartfelt day full of smiles and memories π
At Emberbrook Care Home, creativity has been shining through with painting, colouring and some lovely teamwork. Mary proudly took the win for her artwork, while June and Judy enjoyed making a supportive cushion together, filled with chat and laughter along the way π¨
Across all our homes, itβs these simple, shared moments that mean the mostβ¦ connection, laughter and time spent together π
