✨ One year after the launch of the initiative in London by the President of the Republic Νίκος Χριστοδουλίδης - Nikos Christodoulides, the initiative returned to the United Kingdom with highly successful events in and , reaffirming its commitment to strengthening links between Cyprus and its global talent community. 🇨🇾🌍
🤝 The programme included a roundtable discussion in Birmingham with more than 40 professionals and a career fair in London attended by more than 300 participants, generating meaningful discussions and valuable professional connections.
💼 More than 20 Cyprus-based companies presented over 100 job opportunities, giving attendees the chance to engage directly with employers and explore career prospects across a wide range of sectors.
🔬 Representatives from the Τμήμα Φορολογίας/Cyprus Tax Department and the Ίδρυμα Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας/ Research and Innovation Foundation also participated, providing practical information on tax incentives, funding programmes, research opportunities and tools that support innovation and entrepreneurship in Cyprus.
🎤 Addressing the London event, Deputy Minister to the President, Ειρήνη Πική - Irene Piki, highlighted the progress achieved over the past year and outlined the Government's efforts to make an increasingly attractive destination for talent, innovation and professional growth.
🗣️ Speakers also underlined that Cyprus' greatest asset remains its people and emphasised the important role of the Cypriot diaspora in shaping the country's future and supporting the country's continued development and competitiveness.
📈 The strong participation in both events demonstrated the growing interest among Cypriots in the United Kingdom in exploring professional opportunities and strengthening their connections with Cyprus.
