we're proud to support local community organisations that provide opportunities for local children and young people during the summer holidays. These trips create lasting memories, help build friendships, and ensure our young people have access to enriching experiences they might not otherwise have.

A day by the sea ⛱️🌊

SW1IC organised a fantastic day trip to Bournemouth for Pimlico residents — enabling people to enjoy the coast together🍦

I was proud to support the trip with Ward Budget funding. Projects like this show the real difference community funding can make.

Today I spoke with residents on Wi******er and Gloucester Street, who told me Pimlico needs more disabled parking and green spaces 🍃

Congratulations to Cllr Begum and Westminster’s Housing Engagement Team.

Congratulations to Westminster City Council on becoming Tpas Accredited!

Jenny Osbourne, Tpas Chief Executive said: “It was an absolute pleasure to present Westminster City Council with their Tpas award. They not only exceeded the 80% pass mark but achieved a fantastic score of 90% overall. This, combined with a C1 compliance rating by the Regulator of Social Housing, shows their true commitment to excellent tenant engagement and continuous improvement.”

Tpas accreditation isn’t about getting a badge, it’s about proving, improving, and embedding tenant influence across your organisation.

Your Councillors get things done 💪

Standing up for Pimlico's renters 💪

I intervened to support private renters, on the Churchill Gardens Estate, whose landlord left them without a functioning shower for months.

Such treatment is appalling, and I'm pleased the shower has now been repaired and the tenants have been offered a rent reduction.

I will always stand up for local residents over unscrupulous landlords.
