All Saints’ offers paid Choral Scholarships to 8 singers aged 15-25 (2 each Soprano, Counter Tenor or Alto, Tenor and Bass) to sing alongside the Lay Clerks and Choristers - a wonderful opportunity to gain experience singing a wide variety of music to a high standard, and are a great experience for students considering a future University or Cathedral Choral Scholarship.

Scholars should have some singing experience, a clear and confident singing voice, and be able to read music; you do not need to be having singing lessons. They are expected to commit to singing as part of a team and provide an example to our Choristers. The normal weekly routine is:

Thursday 6.45-7.45pm - assist with Trebles rehearsal. 7.45–9.15pm - rehearsal with Lay Clerks

Friday 4.30-5.30pm - rehearsal. 5.30-6.15pm - Choral Evensong

Sunday 10–10.20am - rehearsal. 10.30–11.45am - High Mass
also on the first Sunday of the month:
4.30–6pm - rehearsal. 6.30–7.15pm - Choral Evensong with the Lay Clerks

The term is September to July, with short breaks after Christmas and Easter. Scholars are expected to commit to the choir as fully as possible, and not to miss more than one rehearsal and Sunday services in a month. The annual scholarship (£900) is paid in monthly instalments, plus the opportunity to develop your singing and sight-reading skills. Scholars help to train the Choristers, can also gain conducting experience if they wish, and for those suitably proficient, playing the ‘Father Willis’ organ.

Sparks Choirs are coming in September 2026!🎇🎶

Our brand-new choirs are open to all KS2 Sutton pupils (Y3-Y6), offering a fun, inclusive and high-quality singing experience.

💫 We are offering an introductory price of £30 for the first term (10 sessions) and you do not need to be a pupil at the school to attend rehearsals

We're inviting student performers to showcase their talent at The Sound Lounge, Sutton, this October. You'll have the opportunity to perform 2-3 pieces of your choice, including covers

FREE MUSIC OPPORTUNITY- NEW START TIME! 🎶

Join Sutton Soundscapes, an inclusive orchestra for secondary school age students with learning needs and disabilities. Students will use specialist tablets to create music using a software called CMPSR Swipe (all tablets provided at the library)

Led by two experienced tutors, students will learn a range of pieces and how to play as an ensemble, as well as taking part in games, percussion activities and more!

‼️ We are pleased to announce a later start time of 4pm to 5.15pm! This should allow students to arrive after school and settle before the session starts‼️

Parents, carers and support workers are warmly encouraged to stay and support their student throughout the session.
