*HON. AHWINAHWI WELCOMES GOV. OBOREVWORI TO UGHELLI FOR EPOCH-MAKING OTOVWODO FLYOVER GROUNDBREAKING*

A former two-term member of the House of Representatives for Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu Federal Constituency, Hon. Solomon Ahwinahwi, has extended a warm welcome to the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, ahead of the epoch-making groundbreaking ceremony of the Otovwodo Flyover Project in Ughelli.

In his welcome message, Hon. Ahwinahwi stated that all is now set for a successful groundbreaking of the flyover project at Otovwodo Junction, Ughelli, Delta State.

He expressed profound gratitude to Gov Oborevwori for the project, describing it as a political masterstroke that has won the hearts of Deltans, particularly the people of the great and ancient Ughelli Kingdom.

The former federal lawmaker highlighted the numerous benefits of the project, noting that it will eliminate traffic congestion, significantly reduce man-hour lost on the busy route and enhance productivity, stressing that time is money.

Hon. Ahwinahwi further noted that the flyover will improve the aesthetic outlook of Ughelli town while stimulating economic growth and commercial activities in the area.

A prominent Agbarho and Olomu chief, Hon. Ahwinahwi also commended Governor Oborevwori for citing the flyover project at Otovwodo, Ughelli and for the various developmental projects executed across Ughelli North Local Government Area in particular and Delta State in general.

He revealed that the people of Ughelli North LGA have resolved to vote massively for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in support of the continuation of the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda.

The Izomo of Agbarho Kingdom also used the opportunity to welcome leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other prominent Deltans to Ughelli Kingdom, describing it as a land of peace and unity.

Two time member of the House of Representatives, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi, has congratulated the National Chairman of DC-23 and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator (Chief) Ighoyota Amori on his swearing-in as Member, Board of Governors of Peoples Democratic Institute, a political subsection of the Peoples Democratic Party.

In his congratulatory message, Hon Ahwinahwi described the appointment as well deserved noting that it is an acknowledgement of the huge contributions of Dr. Ighoyota Amori to the growth of the largest party in Africa, the PDP.

The Ogba of Olomu Kingdom expressed confidence that Dr. Ighoyota Amori, a political heavyweight, his mentor and one of the founding members of the PDP in Delta State, will offer his wealth of experience to bear in delivery on the mandate of the Institute which is to provide the training and knowledge needed to advance democracy in Nigeria and across Africa.

The former lawmaker congratulated the Odidimadi of Africa on the appointment and prayed God to grant him more wisdom to succeed in his new assignment.

He thanked Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for nominating Senator Dr. Ighoyota Amori for the position, noting that the Governor has proven his mettle as an astute administrator and a man of the people.
