Fel rhan o Adolygiad Deg Tref Sir Gâr, mae Cyngor Sir Gâr wedi comisiynu PER Consulting a Lafan i adolygu’r cynlluniau adfer economaidd ar gyfer deg o drefi gwledig y sir, gan gynnwys Llanybydder.

Rydym am glywed gan bobl leol am gryfderau Llanybydder, yr heriau sy’n wynebu’r dref a’r cyfleoedd ar gyfer y dyfodol.

Os ydych yn byw neu’n gweithio yn Llanybydder, yn rhedeg busnes, yn cynrychioli sefydliad neu grŵp cymunedol, neu’n ymweld â’r dref yn rheolaidd, hoffem glywed eich barn.

TOMORROW - Tuesday 15th

As part of the Carmarthenshire Ten Towns Review, Carmarthenshire County Council has commissioned PER Consulting and Lafan to review the economic recovery plans for ten rural towns across the county, including Llanybydder.

They want to hear from local people about Llanybydder’s strengths, the challenges facing the town and the opportunities for the future.
If you live or work in Llanybydder, run a business, represent an organisation or community group, or regularly visit the town, we would like to hear your views.

MAE CYNGOR SIR CAERFYRDDIN YN HYSBYSU TRWY HYN na chaniateir i neb achosi i unrhyw gerbyd deithio ar hyd y darn ffordd a adwaenir fel yr C2111 Rhydcymerau, o bwynt sydd 333 metr i'r gorllewin o'r gyffordd â'r B4337 Rhydcymerau am bellter o 602 metr i gyfeiriad y gorllewin.

Mae angen cau'r ffordd er mwyn sicrhau diogelwch y cyhoedd tra bydd Openreach yn gwneud gwaith ar bolion o ddydd Mercher 16 Medi 2026 i ddydd Iau, 17 Medi 2026.

PUBLIC NOTICE

SECTION 14 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – C2111 Rhydcymerau

CARMARTHENSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along that length of road known as the C2111 Rhydcymerau, from a point 333 metres west from its junction with the B4337 Rhydcymerau for a distance of 602 metres in a westerly direction.

The closure is necessary to ensure public safety whilst Openreach carry out poling works from Wednesday 16th September 2026 to Thursday 17th September 2026.

The Alternative Route for west bound traffic from a point east of the closure, will be to proceed along the C2111 Rhydcymerau, B4337 Rhydcymerau, A485 Llanybydder and the C2111 Rhydcymerau to return to a point west of the closure. Vice versa for east bound traffic.

Pedestrian movement will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the closure.

This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.

CARMARTHENSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along that length of road known as the C2052 Gwernogle from its junction with the B4310 for a distance of 100 metres in a north-westerly direction.

The closure is necessary to ensure public safety whilst Openreach replace a pole, which shall take place on 22nd September 2026 from 08:00 to 17:00.

The alternative route will be via the U4130 (from Gwernogle), the B4310, and the B4337.
Pedestrian movement to individual properties will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the closure.
