The Warm Wales information-sharing workshop had a great turnout today. We appreciate all of the helpful advice, pointers, details, and connections that Aled and Lisa from Warm Wales have shared. Lisa will be returning in August for a drop-in session (when to be determined) if you were unable to attend today's session or if you need help prior please refer to the attached leaflet for contact information. Come and chat with us this Saturday, July 13, at the Football Fields at our stand at the Llanidloes Carnival and don't forget to join us on Thursday, July 18, at the Rugby Club for our second chair yoga session.

Feeling great after our seated yoga session last week, where exercise and relaxation combined to welcome all abilities. The next seated yoga session is on the 18th of July, Thursday, but why wait till then to see us? Join us for a session on the history of Llanidloes and enjoy some refreshments and company this Thursday 27th of June, The Rugby Club, Llanidloes. See you there!

Mae Iechyd a Gofal Gwledig Cymru (Bwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Hywel Dda, Bwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Betsi Cadwaladr a Bwrdd Iechyd Addysgu Powys) yn edrych i gefnogi dwy gymuned leol yng Ngheredigion a Phowys - Llanbedr Pont Steffan a Llanidloes - trwy brosiect Cymunedau Cynaliadwy newydd (a ariennir gan UKSPF) a fydd yn cynnal digwyddiadau cymdeithasol i drigolion bregus ac yn hwyluso'r ddarpariaeth o gymorth iddynt fyw'n annibynnol, yn eu cartrefi eu hunain, cyhyd ag y bo modd. Tymor byr yw'r prosiect (Ebrill - Tachwedd 2024) ond y bwriad yw gweithio gyda chymunedau Llanbedr Pont Steffan a Llanidloes i chwilio am gyllid ac atebion tymor hir, fel y gall y gwaith barhau os yw'r cyfranogwyr yn teimlo ei fod yn fuddiol.

Rural Health and Care Wales (Hywel Dda University Health Board, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and Powys Teaching Health Board) is looking to support two local communities in Ceredigion and Powys - Lampeter and Llanidloes - through a new Sustainable Communities project (UKSPF funded) that will run social events for vulnerable residents and provide support for them to live independently, in their own homes, for as long as possible. The project is short term (April - November 2024) however the intention is to work with the communities of Lampeter and Llanidloes to look for longer term funding and solutions, so that the work can continue if participants feel it is beneficial.
